Hi all :) I am a Canadian living and working as a Registered nurse for UPENN for the past two years... and I am ready to move home. My top places to go are Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver :) I was wondering if anyone can give me some semblance of an idea how the heck to do so. Do I have to apply to the specific province in order to take my boards or do I apply to some overall entity? Does Canada function the same as the states wherein I took the NCLEX and register with a particular state but then I can easily apply for reciprocity? I have literally no clue what the process is and the more I read about it the more confused I've gotten. Any advice/ help would be much appreciated! Thanks fellow RN's!

Start at the website of the province you plan on living and working in. If you didn't train and pass CRNE then you come under the remit of IEN and have to meet their requirements which may result in some form of assessment. The process may take time and may result in the province accepting your NCLEX results
