Hi everyone. i just took the nclex today and my computer stopped at around 93-96 and that got me really anxious. I wonder if people who stopped at this number passed or failed.

I know this is a useless inquiry as many of you will probably say that the number in which the computer stopped during the test doesnt really say if you pass or fail. However, I am really curious as to how others did. Please feed my coping mechanism and let me know how you guys did in your nclex. Thanks a lot!

It really doesn't matter, we have had many pass or fail with min and max and even in between

If I thought that this line of thinking would help you one iota, I'd follow it....but as it is, the answer to "has anyone passed or failed at this number of questions" is "YES". If you're curious how others did, you will hear from 100 people saying "I passed" and "I failed".

People have passed, and people have failed. How does this help you? It doesn't. Know what mght, though? Getting yourself a break from all this! Get outside, get a brisk walk in. Take the dog ;)

Catch up on laundry or dishes, clean out your closets. Anything that keeps you busy and passes the time until you can pay $8 for Quick Results (if it's an option) and find out for certain one way or the other. Hyperfocusing on how everyone else did.....doesn't do a blessed thing for you, trust me.

In any event...Goodluck!

Thank you for your response. Actually, I went to the beach to unwind after the test today. :) I am not just curious of how other people did in their test. I was hoping to get a response from actual people who had the same experience whether they passed or failed or if there are other things that they could share to me. it is just my way of coping through the stress. Hearing from people who "had been there and done that" is a big help. Anyways, thanks a lot! XOXO

We are all nurses, therefore we have all "been there, done that" I passed first time with all 265, but I have friends and classmates who have passed at 75 and every number in between and a few classmates who failed with different numbers. I understand your 'coping' mechanism...but to cope, try this. Ask yourself if you studied hard, know your content and did the very best you could. If the answer is yes, yes, and yes, then use that to feel better!

Like Scaredsilly said, we have ALL 'been there done that' if we're now licensed ;)

I was just hoping to get across that it really isn't going to be helpful for you--or help you cope with the wait better--if you hear from one or two or ten people who say "I had 94-95 questions and failed!!" . You will then think "oh no, I'll probably fail too!". Or if you hear from a handful who say "I got 95 questions and passed!" in which case, "I probably passed too!" but none of it means much of anything....anyway, that's where I was going with it.

Go back to the beach. Forget about AN until you have your results, then come back and tell us :D
