Well it shut off at 75, I was really hoping it would. :imbar

It seemed to have quite a variety, OB, Peds, Psych, Pharm, disease processes, Infection control, and lots of priority. I had one multiple/multiple, and no med calculations.

I left feeling pretty good about it, which is kind of scary since everyone has told me you will feel like you failed it. So either I just think I know this, or I really do. :uhoh21:

I can't wait till Thurs when I find out. But I must say I have a sense of relief because it is done. And what will be will be and I will take it from there, one day at a time. I think the few beers I have had have help with this.

I wish everyone facing their boards SUCESS!! We CAN do it!!

I did it, I passed! I took the test on Tues at 10am and found out on Wed at 9:30am, while I was at work. My boss told me! We were all jumping around and screaming, even the patients were excited.

I want to thank everyone here for there support and guidance through out nursing school. This site helped me through alot, just reading everyones experiences and knowing that I was not the only one experiencing the same. Also Saunders really works, that's what helped me to really understand what they were looking for. I did 75-100 questions a day for the past two weeks, but I had used Saunders all through nursing school to study for each exam I had. What a wonderful resource!

Good luck to all, I wish you the best! You can do it!! Just have faith in yourself. :)

Congrats.

I'm taking the NCLEX later this year, assuming I graduate from nursing school. Anyways, you mentioned you used the Saunder's book to review?

What's the complete title of the book and what edition. A link would be highly appreciated. I want to start studying now bit by bit. I havent used the Saunder's or any nclex review books all throughout nursing school, and I'm about to graduate, in 3-4 months. I figure if study now, I'll have an increased chance to pass.

I used Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination, it comes with a disk for the computer as well. The ISBN # is 0-7216-0347-5

Hope that helps, best of luck with the rest of your last semester!!

I took the NCLEX in california last thursday....I still have not got results a week later. Everyday that goes by I check on the BRN website and just hope that my name will pop up with a licence, but it doesn't. I cry everytime my name does not appear. It's killing me. I felt really good when I left the test, but each day that goes on..I feel more and more like i did not pass. I don't know what went wrong..I studied, got a good night sleep before, and did pretty well in nursing school....in CA ou have to wait 91 days and your IP expires..so i would have to wait almost 3 months, take thetest, and then wait 1 more month as a CNA working on the same unit as i worked before as an RNIP...so depressed...I don't want to face my fellow co-workers if I failed.:o

Nursekimmi-

I sympathize with you. I was worried before the test about what if I failed, I have been on my floor for over 3 years and I did not want to face any one if I were to fail. I felt good after the test but I did not tell anyone at work, I just said "I don't know"

I am very lucky that here in WI we have such a quick turn around with the results. I would be acting /thinking just like you if I had to wait. Try to lift up your spirits and have faith in your abilities and knowledge. I have heard from ALOT of people that it takes quite a while to find out your results in CA.

I will send all sorts of positive thoughts and vibes your way! Let us know when you find out. And try to remember how you felt after the test and don't let doubt take that feeling away.

:)
