Yeah, that's the ***** of working while in school. I was lucky and worked for flexible doc. I did have to leave once full-on nursing classes began as he needed me there, most office hours were days. But up till then he let me leave early to go to night class as long as I everything done pretty quick the next am that they left for me from the night before. I did office admin and scheduling/triage/edu/billing/collections and all insurance for him. So, I kind of decided how that was going to go down.
Sometimes with how bad nursing is for everybody these days, I wonder if it would have made more sense (income-wise, longevity, stress, taken in to account) just to get certified in a thing or two in administration and done that. You can make some good money as a practice administrator for a larger practice. This job I walked in off the street and taught myself ...been a business owner prior etc. Dont' get me wrong, I wanted nursing, but, really nursing can't really be a great thing for most people these days. Those great places to work, where you can really be the kind of nurse you want to be are few.
Why not settle one of your jobs down and do something like I had done. You will be crazy busy, but not on your feet.

Job number one been there since May, but seriously on the verge of being fired or quitting... plan on turning in resignation this week.
Job number two is at a methadone clinic, I will be in their float pool for three clinics in the area.
Job number three is pediactric home health. approx. 18-26 hrs a week...
And I have another job interview tomorrow for a rehab facility.
I am so overwhelmed !!!
All I want is one part time job and a PRN. I just didn't want to put all my eggs in one basket so I went on three interviews this week just to see what each job had to offer. Out of all three the peds one seems most interesting
.
Whew, been a crazy week. Hopefully my schedule will pan out some time next week, early August.
