I'm a stalker! :rotfl: Hopefully I won't get hit with a restraining order or something....you know, meeting him/her at the mailbox EVERY day, sometimes there before them, looking for that elusive letter!
Let 'em think it....the day I start screaming and running for the house upon receipt of said letter will probably be the day I get a new mail carrier
Good luck to all of you prospective nursing students...Yes, our acceptance letters came out early...Of course, that was 20 years ago, but you never know...Keep your fingers crossed, and your toes wouldn't hurt either, too...lol..."Keep on stalking the mailman"...better you than the dogs chasing them...lol...
Re: letters being "sent early"...well I didn't have a chance to stalk my postman. I found out on a Friday, that our letters would be in the mailbox by Monday...I almost had a heart attack on the spot! lol I wasn't expecting it for another 3+ weeks (this was last April). I had to drive home, 25 miles away, the mail had already been delivered that Monday, and I was soooo nervous to open the letter. I waited until I had walked from down the street (we have the locked metal box type mailboxes) and when I was walking up my own driveway, I started to open it. I figured i'd wait til I got inside (the envelope was skinny...so I was nervous it was a rejection letter). I took a peek and it said Congratulations on the first line. I screamed loud. I mean LOUD! I ran in the house and shared the joy with my kids.
Ok done sharing that lol. Reading these posts takes me back to the "waiting days"...I soooo remember what you guys are all going through! It was like walking on air finally getting the letter and knowing. Half the battle is over at that point. Hang in there!

I wish I would get my letter early. I found out today from a classmate that the nursing department hasn't even received the application packets from admission yet! I guess it will be April before I hear yeah or nay! At least its a month closer now!
hee hee..my first thought when I heard this was "Oh no...does she live in Texas?"
I got mine a month early...they said mid-March, so imagine my shock when I got a little preliminary email from the school on the 15th of February!
And after my excitement died down a bit, and I was waiting for the "official" letter, I wondered, my God, what if that email was fake, and I've told everyone I got in.... Fortunately it WASN'T....

Carolina - that would suck! Fortunately it was THE REAL THING!
As for stalking the mailman, I am trying really hard to watch from my window and wait 'till he is gone, but sometimes he likes to sit in front of our box and get the mail ready for the next few boxes....it's like torture! So sometimes I go out there and push him along I surely don't want to get maced!!
