Just took the test this morning --the computer stopped at 102. The questions were extremely hard--even after studying my butt off for weeks! I had questions that I had absolutely NO CLUE what the answer was. I found myself not even being able to use that good old "Decision Tree" that Kaplan drills into your head. The majority of my questions were Pediatric/neonatal and I even had a few regarding herbal supplements (something that I failed to study)...I'm trying to look in my school books to find the answers to some of the questions and I can't find them :angryfire !!! Were they really trying to stump me or what???
I'm feeling a little discouraged at this point (and emotionally exhaused after crying all day!!! ) Oh well, life is still good. I'm grateful I still have my health, happiness, and a wonderful, supportive husband (the poor guy, he may need to go to a "husband of a nursing school student" therapy group soon)
I can SO empathize with everyone here! I take my test next week!
This is the first time I'm hearing about herbal questions. How would you study for these? I haven't seen anythinng related to this in any of the review books.
Anyway, good luck to everyone about to take the test! And to those who are waiting, I hope you don't have to wait too long!
I was curious about the herbal supplement issue so I did some research between my book and some website... This web site pretty much mirrors my med books recommendations if anyone want to look over it just an FYI.
Thanks for the advice!!!!!

I had 75 questions on my NCLEX yesterday, and thought it was definitely the hardest exam I have ever taken!!! I also heard that getting 75 questions AND thinking it was very tough are good signs...so why doesn't that make my stomach happy? I have had the worst stomachache since I took the test!
Wish me luck!
