what am I supposed to think? You tell me...

I don't know what to think. Last time I took the Nclex-RN I got the max amount of questions. Then I took it again today for the second time almost a year later and I got the minimum amount of questions. I wish I could say that I studied the entire time from the first time I took the Nclex to the second time but that's not the case. My life and schedule just didn't allow that much free time for studying. But I did make an effort to try and make time to study and can honestly say that I blew off a lot of responsibilities within the past 3 months or so to study. I just don't know if it was enough. How am I supposed to tell how I did when I got the max amount one time and the minimum the very next time? I've thought about doing the "trick" to see what it says but I'm even afraid to do that. What if it does say I didn't pass, I'll be devestated and if it hints at that I may have passed well then I may be filling myself up with false hope. I mean is the "trick" just coincidence or can it be trusted. Further more what if I do the "trick" and I end up messing up my information in their computer system. I wish I could just shut my brain off from the whole experience but to make matters worse my boss called me "from her own private cell phone on her day off" only to ask me if I took the dang thing yet, and how many questions I got so that she could decide for herself if I passed or not. But of course this whole time they've been "supporting me any way they can" what a crock! It's been more like oh "THE LPN" like working with an LPN is like having a virus. I have more experience as an LPN then a lot of the RN out on the floor. Well I don't want to start that rant and rave again so let me quickly back away from that thought lol I don't what do you guys think? Do you think I passed or do you think I bombed it so horrible it shut off right away??? Cause I have no idea

I have heard that there is no way to really know based on how many questions you got. You could pass with very little or many. Try not to worry about what others think. This is about you and what you think. Don't let others opinions make you feel bad. You said that you didn't feel very prepared. You obviously know what it takes to pass. Think of that when you get your results. If you passed, wonderful. If not keep your head up and buckle down and study for the next time. Good luck!, also unless you absolutely have to, don't tell your boss or anyone else when you are going to take the exam again. That only heightens your anxiety with the whole matter.
