HEY GUYS! YESTERDAY I SAT THE TORTUROUS NCLEX RN, WAS SO HOPEFUL THAT THE COMPUTER WOULD SHUT DOWN BY 100. IT JUST KEPT GOING AND GOING. WOULD YOU ALL BELIEVE I RAN OUT OF TIME AT 249. THE QUESTIONS WERE NOT THE PROBLEM, IT WAS THOSE DREADFUL ANSWERS. THEY WERE NOTHING LIKE THE PRACTICE ONES ON THE CDs OR FROM THE BOOKS. I GOT THE WORST EXAM EVER WRITTEN. I LEFT CRYING, I COULD NOT BE COMFORTED. I SEARCHED THE THREADS FOR ANYONE WHO RAN OUT OF TIME AND ALL STATED THEIR COMPUTER STOPPED AT A NUMBER, NO ONE ELSE RAN OUT OF TIME. I FELT LIKE THE BIGGEST FAILURE. I KNEW THERE WAS NO HOPE FOR ME SO I GOT UP EARLY AND STARTED STUDYING WITH THE INTENTION OF RETAKING IN 6 WEEKS.
GUYS, LATER IN THE AM I CHECKED THE BOARDS WEBSITE TO CONFIRM MY FAILURE. I PASSED, I PASSED, I PASSED. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!! I PASSED!!!!!
I AM WRITING THIS THREAD AS ANOTHER REINFORCEMENT THAT YOU CAN PASS AT ANY STAGE FROM 75 UP. NEVER GIVE UP. ALSO WANT TO SEND A BIG THANK YOU TO SUZANNE 4 FOR THE NOTES AND INSISTING THAT WE READ THOSE RATIONALES. THE RATIONALES WERE MORE IMPORTANT, IN MY CASE, THAN THE GETTING THE QUESTIONS RIGHT.
I FEEL SO RELIEVED. THANKS GUYS FOR ALL YOUR NCLEX EXPERIENCES, THEY GAVE ME COURAGE AND CHEERED ME UP WHEN I WAS SO DOUBTFUL.
Hi, I know this has been quite a while for you but congratulations anyhow. The time ran out on me as well. Did you wait the 48 hrs for the results or did you do the Pearson Vue trick?
Hello Michelleandj, no I did not have to wait or do the trick. In my case I applied through Arizona BON and at that time within 24 hours the results were posted on the BON website in the form of a license #
being granted. I mean the very next day. I believe AZ has a direct feed.
One other thing, I have not visited this site or logged on in years I mean years. Because of you the webmaster emailed me of your post and now I am back. Thanks to you.
I run out of time !!! I took my Nclex today and I'm like freaking out!!! I think I did t pass! I took the hardest tess, they where all select that apply, math and the worst, put in order!!! Somebody give me some hope! Im nervous and I really think I didn't pass I did only 148 questions!!!

Not sure what state you are in but have you heard of the Pearson vue trick to see if you passed or failed? If you are in a state that uses Pearson vue to register for tests then you should be able to try it. Go back on Pearson vue and try and register to take the test again under your existing account, if you get a pop up to pay again then you failed, but if you get one that says you recently took it and contact the board of nursing then you passed. Let me know. Good luck.
