I have a problem, pls help.

I hope that this problem of mine won't sound too shallow. But I really don't know what to do. I have a very long name. I have three first names to be exact ( blame it on my mom ). The problem is, my first names WON'T FIT in the registration at Pearson Vue online. And they are asking for the exact full name. I need to know what to do at this early point in time because at the moment, I am waiting for VT's approval letter.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. God bless us all.

What if you dropped one (or two) of your first names? Most people have two names and a last name and may or may not use both of the two names. Or perhaps you could just use initials for some of the names.

Initial 2 of the names and spell out one of them. Eg: A B Cee

Have a similar problem with having 2 first names that won't fit in most computerized systems. I just use the initial of my first name and spell out the 2nd. So far, throughout the years, I haven't had any problems.

I have used my long name for all my documents including my passport and my application to VT, my transcripts, my professional license.At VT's website, my complete name is there. Everything, Suzanne. I have three first names, then my middle name and last name.

What should I do, Suzanne? Call up Pearson Vue and ask?

Definitely verify with them what they will accept. Would start with that. Would be a shame if someone would not let you into a testing center if the names did not match. And this could happen. Best to get it in writing from them, then you will be set.

I have 2 middle names but had no problem dropping one of them for Pearson vue, my ATT was also issued with just the 1st of my 2 middle names & I had no problem when my passport was checked at the test centre. I presume that's because they know that they only have the space for 1 1st name & 1 middle name.

I'm not saying don't call & check but I think you're going to find that you'll be fine. Just be consistent!

If someone is worried about something, always much better to check directly with the source and hear the information directly from them. Rules are always changing.

Hi Suzanne and to all those who replied. :-)

Suzanne, I have just emailed Pearson Vue about my situation. According to the website, it will take 3 to 4 days for them to reply. Aside from the email, I will also call their customer service because I do not want to commit a mistake.I want to do things right. :-)

So for now, I just need to wait and continue studying. Thank you for all the advice.
