OMG! I took it on 7/18 with 265 questions, and I passed!!!! :balloons: My classmate also took it the same day with 265 and she passed as well!! THERE IS HOPE! DON'T DESPAIR GIRLS! I PRAYED FOR US ALL!!

where did u get the results??i took the exam last tues (7/18) too...pls where can i find the results??:crying2:

I used the Pearson Vue website. Just sign in with your username and then when u get under Current Activity or whatever, there should be a Quick Results link. It's $7.95, but well worth the STRESS REDUCTION! GOOD LUCK!

Oh i have no idea then, i'm sorry! But don't be under the assumption that you failed. I'm from NJ and they don't post the license #s for 4 weeks!!!! So don't assume the worst. I would call up your BON.

You must be a graduate of an accredited RN nursing program (for RN licensure, of course, LPN for an LPN licensure). You then apply to the State Board of Nursing in the State in which you wish to become licensed, including the fee. Your school must send transcripts and any other supporting documentation that is necessary. The SBON will review your application and determine if requirements have been met. If they have, they will issue an Authorization To Test (ATT) and you can then schedule an appointment with an authorized testing center (Pearson has the exclusive contract as far as I know). You then pay that fee. Then you take the exam; if you pass, and all requirements are met, you receive a state license to practice nursing.

You cannot sit for an NCLEX exam without meeting the above criteria.

If you're trying to come to the US and work as a nurse, you might post a new thread in the International Nursing Forum. Someone there should be able to help you with the procedure for US licensure.

i passed too.... nclex-pn

i found out today.... i hv waited 4 weeks!!! and i was starting to lose hope.... i took mine on 6/23rd. i rescheduled once on 5/24th to take it on 6/23rd.... i wasnt ready for it then, even though on the 6/23rd, i still wasnt ready to take it, and i almost reschedule for the 2nd tym, im so glad i didnt.... u will never be ready to take it no matter how much u have studied.. and i crammed on the week before my test, i know ur supposed to relax, which i did for a bit on the day before the test... but yah, it was the most horrible feelng when getting ready for it and taking the test until waiting for the result.....

i opened our mailbox and saw the envelope!!! it was the small envelope... i already knew i passed from reading here in this website that if u get a small envelope means u passed, a big envelope means u failed, big envelope for more paperwork to fill out to retake it...

i ran upstairs and opened it.... saw my picture on the candidate report and quickly scanned the paper and finally found wat i was looking for.... "has passed" in caps and bold letters!!! i really was looking for the initial lvn right after my name.... but yah, tears fell off my eyes.... i cried... i called my mom and the rest of my family... i didnt call my bf coz i wanted to tell him in person, which i did today. i know theyre all happy..... i know i am....

i feel like my soul has lifted me.... im so happy and very thankful to god...
