I PASSED NCLEX-PN!!!

:clown: I took the exam Thurs morining at 8am found out today(Fri) at 11am online

that I PASSED!!! I'm a LPN!

The computer shut off at 85 questions. I was suprised to get some much pharm questions.

I got about 5 question on one specific (easy) drug. I knew the drug but the answer options were

not familar to me. So I'm guessing I was answering it wrong so the computer gave me 5 chances

throughout the exam to prove myself, Im guessing that's why I had so much Pharm questions

too. I'll never forget that drug now. I walked out the testing site thinking

only by the grace of God will I pass. I didn't think the exam was "hard" compared to the nclex-pn

review books.

For those who studying for the boards...

1 know your lab values

2 infection control,

3 patient teaching/ what you'd teach other nurses about pt. conditon/disease

4 delagation and

5 don't over do the drug review. I would recommend fousing on the drug names and catagories that you saw throughout school.

6 review strageties on answering nclex questions, when in doubt it will come in handy.

7 Read the questions carefully,

8 don't read into the question,

9 and try not to doubt your first answer, its usually the right one.

Lastly, my test format not not be similar to yours, but the 9 things I listed

above you will diffiently run into. I had... 2 OB, 4 Peds, about 20 pharm, about 20 Med-surg

7 Select all that apply, 8 infection control, 4 mental health

about 9 nursing process, and 2 calculations...from what I can remember.
