It's official!!! Took NCLEX-RN yesterday, did the PVT when I got home... got the good pop up.

Checked with Florida BON this morning.... and yay, I got a Licensce number!

Freagin' Sweeeeeeeet!!

Wanted to tell each and everyone thank you sooooo soooo sooo very much for your support and encouragement!!

Heard PVT might work differently in NY.. took the exam yesterday but going to the credit card. Let me know.

i dont know what is going on with ny...in florida as soon as you take your boards the FLBON issues you a license within 24hours....new york likes to play games...i did the PVT got the good pop-up...HOWEVER...LOL...its like now....and even pearsonvue STILL doesnt have my "unofficial" results ready and its driving me nuts!!...apparently NYSBON says that they have a "back-log" and its taking up to two weeks to get a license number....so im STILL waiting!...ugh...but the "good pop-up" is keeping me at bay...its frustrating...but hey...:uhoh3:

snowbunny, sorry it takes NY that long, kinda odd i think.

Yeah Florida BON had it posted by 0800 the very next day. I don't even need to pay and view for quick results by Pearson vue.... wow, saved me a whole $7.95!!!

Good luck! I would say be patient, but I'm not either so i know how ya feel. i think i checked the FL BON at 6 am... and checked every 15 minues up until 8am.

LOL....trust me lisa....its nerve wracking!...lol...i took my LPN boards in FL back in 2006 and i got my license the NEXT day...NY is typically fast but i think it has to do with the amount of testers...but as they say..patience is a virtue!...:lol2:

PA is super fast. Results were posted in 24hr. Got my license 2 weeks later....still no job.
