well I took my hesi friday and needed to get a 75% to pass I got a 77% didn't pass by much but I at least surprised myself, I was so nervous. It was a lot of conversions which is what I had the most trouble with :/ Anyways I found january 21st if I get into nursing school.

what are my chances of getting in if I passed my hesi? I don't want to get my hopes up for nothing.

Hey there,

That is great that you passed your HESI! I can't say if that guarantees you a spot because I know that schools look at many factors when considering applicants to accept into the program.

I wish you the best of luck!

yeah, i heard somewhere passing your admission exam is 50% of what gets you in. they also look at your gpa which mine meets the requirements, and i also have four letters of reccomendation, so i think my chances are pretty good... i hope so anyways. and thanks :)

I take my HESI next month and currently studying now over the break ? How was it and did you review with the evolve review book ? I'm so nervous about it!

I used the review book a little, but I highly suggest just getting a book like Cliff Notes for the A&P section. That portion of the HESI is so general. You don't need to worry about it too much. For example, some questions might resemble "What part of the body is the such-and-such bone found in?"

I suggest studying conversions, especially fluid ounces. I forgot that one, and I missed a couple questions on the math section because of that.
