I am stuck between a rock and a hard place at the moment, well in my eyes at least. I didn't get in to the only program which I applied to (yes, I know I screwed up by only applying to one school) and every program has closed applications for an evening program. I will apply to one school this month for the January evening program and I can't apply to the other school's until next year. Well if I do not get in to the program for January I have thought about attending a LPN program (are they 1 year programs or two?) and once completing the LPN program I'd apply to more ADN Nursing program's. Is this a good idea or would it be a waste of time? I am lost as to what I should do. I'd like to get some opinions if you wouldn't mind.
All I have left to take is ceramics, CPR and I have completed all of my other classes. What do you recommend I do?
"Oh, I didn't really mean to enroll in the LPN program; I thought this was the RN program. So tell me, how do I enroll in the RN program? (Now that I know I'm accepted in it. . .)

Surely this is a situation that they've encountered before: people accepted for the LPN program waiting to also hear from the RN program. Ask the registration folks. I'm sure they have a plan for registering for the LPN program and moving it over to the RN program a week later if you are accepted.
If not, do they have a delayed payment program - where you can register for the LPN program and pay at a later date, say about a week later, if you get my drift.
Even if they don't have a programmed 'path' to register for the LPN and move over to the RN if you get accepted, there should be room to 'blaze your own trail'. Never underestimate the ability to appear like you didn't understand the rules. People just love to straighten out 'dense' people.
