I need to help my wife

Well, I hate to be a source of bad news but my wife just recently failed her nclex test. She was on the deans list through school and never got a grade lower than a B. When she took the test she got all 265 questions. She was at work when I got the results online. I felt so bad for her. She is very upset over the results. I want to help her so bad but I dont know anything about nursing. Can anybody tell me the best classes or studyguides I can buy for my wife. I want her to nail it the next time. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Sorry for butting in on the thread, but I ordered something called Saunders Q&A Review for NCLEX-RN. ISBN 0721692389 published in 2002. Is that the same thing or similiar?

Do you know how Saunders generated practice questions? Did they thoroughly study real NCLEX-RN questions, identify keys components, and then simulate practice questions in a way that 's very close to real NCLEX-RN questions? How would you Saunders questions to questions in Kaplan, Mosby, etc? While preparing for the NCLEX, I realized that questions in my class room is much different from questions in NCLEX.

The focus should not be on the question, but on the rationale that comes with the question. Saunder's does the absolute best at that. That is more important in my opinion, to understand what the exam is looking for in an answer. Why one answer was selected and not the others. So it is not the practice questions themselves but what you learn by understanding the rationales that go along with each question.

Saunders does not get to review real NCLEX questions. If they happen to get their hands on any (usually through unscrupulous candidates), it is a copyright violation to use them. None of the review developers get to review NCLEX questions.
