I Need help with Medical Math...

hello there. i'm not an lpn as of yet, but i will be in 2008 permitting if i pass the test. i'm not really good in math and i have disliked it all my life. as you know, nurses need a lot of math in order to do doseage calculations, ht. and wt., surface area, drug doseages for peds, monitoring iv, giving im, sq, or id injection etc...i hope math won't be my downfall as a nurse because i really love nursing! does anybody have any suggestions about an easier way to do mental math for drug calculations??? any help will be appreciated. thank you so much. :):):)

If I get into the LVN Program this Fall 2008 I think I will still try to become a CNA it is only a 4 week course that will be over before I start nursing school. I think I have an IM when I go to check my hotmail it also has IM messager button to hit, do you know how to use one of those I have never used it before.:w00t:

Plus, I'm busying studying for my mid terms at the moment, so I probably won't be online a lot over the next few days. By Wednesday, my exams should be finished with and I'll be able to talk to u. My AIM is UNK08. So just put that on your buddy list (if u have one) and IM me. btw, I love that card that u sent me. It's really cute! And you're soo sweet for all those kind words. That is where I have set up my email account at MSN. I click on MSN.com and it takes me to the home page where I can either click on hotmail or IM messenger, does that help at all?

well, I don't really know how to use MSN. I wanted to know if you have AOL? I have AOL, thus I have AIM. I don't know how to work MSN. I'm sorry. What type of internet do you have? You do have internet explorer? Well, keep me posted and hopfully we can work this thing out.

If this helps at all I have windows Live hotmail:monkeydance::yelclap::yeah::lol::anpom:!!! I have internet explorer as my high speed internet and I have windows Live hotmail as my email and my IM messenger, keep me posted ok!!!
