I just received my score and I cant understand how to read this sheet of paper! Ugh! Help.
Composite Score is a 96
DI : 46
AD: 45
ALL: 45
I know I didnt do good on it, I am retaking it on July 25th. Can anyone tell me what my actual score was that I give to my school?
On the intructions it says to Look at the number under the Letters AD (which is 45)
Divide this number by 99
And then Multiply that number by 50.
And then this is my score. which turns into a 22% lol. I dont think that is right!!!!!!! I hope not at least!

I thought your composite score was the one that mattered. Contact your institution to find out what portion of your score they are looking at.

The actual number to look at is the one that says AD:45 if you are applying to a Associate degree RN program. This means that 45% of people that took the NLN test scored lower than you did, and 55% scored higher. Obviously 50% is the average. Hope this helps! My advice is to get a study guide specifically for this test and learn HOW to take this test. It really helped me. It helps you learn how to make a educated guess if you don't know the answer to a problem, among other things.

It depends on the school, at my school because it was for an ADN program, they look at the AD score. We had to score 60 or higher meaning that you are at least in the 60 percentile to apply to the program. The composite score is what you scored overall.
