I need a better iPhone drug app

Published

I am a nursing student. I have been using Epocrates on my iPhone as my reference source for medications. But now that I am further along in the program, we are being asked to know IV administration rates, drug and acid/base interactions, onset of action and half-life of medications and such. I can't seem to find this information in Epocrates, at least not in the free version I'm using. I have to keep Googling things while at home and I'm not always sure I'm getting my information from a top notch medical website.

Can anyone recommend a powerful but user-friendly medication app for iPhone that will do all of these things?

I use micromedex. It's $3 for the regular drug guide and another $3 for the IV drug compatibility app. My work has micromedex, but my PRN job does not and it has been fantastic and easy to use. Plus it updates periodically to get new drugs and such.

I have been using a new app called Med Tap, it's much better than Epocrates and Medscape, more information and easier to navigate
