Don't feel like a failure, you just have to find a better method of studying or figure out and fix whats preventing you from getting better grades.

You're capable of doing well in classes, you got an A in Micro. I got a C in that class and it would be very tough for me to do better even if I took the class by itself. Just apply the strategies you used in that class towards the other ones.
Ik but im taking physiology, microbiology and nutrition, micro im ok with but physiology with a c+ is really unacceptable. plus nutrition which should be easy. . since i did back in anatomy no nursing school would want me .
I would look into the programs that are nearby and really review their admissions policies. See if there are any that have wait lists and make sure they're ok with the amount of retakes you have had. Explain your situation to them and see if there is anything you can do. If you meet the minimum qualifications then apply and the rest is a matter of waiting.
i did and one school im waitlisted. since my gpa is low. i cant do much, i was even told to change my major.

IDK What to tell you but I feel like a failure too. I live with my parents, am 22 years old, and work a dead end job.
I am just now thinking of going back to school, in which I have a 1.87 GPA.
I barely graduated high school, it was just like the name states, High school.
I am thinking of giving up and starting a career in truck driving, but something tells me to stick to it, suck my EGO up and just do it.
Lot's of things are going on, most important for you - Find a study method that works. Try studying with family, or a partner? Try teaching the concepts to others.

agreed, don't feel like a failure! you have to check out your options...
at my school, to get into the program, c's are 'ok'...but once in the program, you can still get c's, but once what was considered a 'c' at 70% is now a 'c' at 77%...a 76% is a 'd'.
each school is different, so i would check out the guidelines.
best of luck!

Hey there,
I've been dealing with some struggles myself for these past two semesters. What I've done and what I'd recommend is that you fight those negative outside influences by focusing on your goal of becoming a nurse. Dig down, find your brass and come in swinging. I had opportunities before that I gave up because of letting my family take advantage of me. I'm 27 now and my attitude is that this time failure is not an option! I gotta give you props because you went back and retook those classes. But what ever nasty force it is that's getting in your way or interrupting your life, cut that sh*t off. Remember why you started and know where you want to go.
Take care

Just being butally honest here,
The amount of work it requires to get an A in Anatomy, Physiology, and the like will get you a C or D in nursing school. It's a whole new world when you start the program.
Now I'm not saying you can't do it, because all things are possible. But, I'm pretty sure you will not succeed if you continue to do things the way you have been doing them. I would need to know more about your study habits and course requirements that lead to these grades to offer any further advice... but know that nursing school is very demanding and a totally different way of testing.
Go to your local library and rent an NCLEX review book (NCLEX is the national exam you have to take after nursing school to get licensed.) and try to work thru a few questions. Read the rationales to why certain answers are correct and others are not. This will give you a feel for how nursing exams are structured. In nursing school, not only do you have to memorize all the information at a fast pace, but you have to apply it to situations and real life examples on the test.
Also, A and P are the FOUNDATION of nursing school much like addition and subtraction are the foundation of algebra. If you don't grasp all of the information in that class, you'll have to do a lot of rereading and relearning to keep up in nursing school.
Best wishes to you, and I'm here to support you in your efforts if you need anything. I hope this hasn't hurt your feelings; I mean it with encouragement and honesty. Its just how it is. I DO BELIEVE you can do it... you've already proved you are willing to retake classes if need be and that's a great attitude to have!
Sincerely,

I got a B- in both A&P 1 and 2 and I'm an A student in the nursing courses. In my opinion, A&P are much harder than the nursing courses are.
I'm in a BSN program and also working 30 hours a week, with a family! You can do it.
