I feel like I'm 50/50 on whether I should reschedule. I'm not sure my practice testing scores are high enough, but everyone says I should just take it. If I fail I think I will be more disappointed than if I reschedule. My ATI tests vary from 62.7-68.2%, and other tests from NCLEX books have me all over the place. 66% in one, 88% in another. I feel like I could do more studying, and I have all day tomorrow, but like I said half of me just wants to get it over with. I've been panicking for a week. I don't know how to judge. I know pharmacology is my weak point, but I made it a point to give that extra time, and I'm at the point with at least the pharm that I won't retain any more. I think if I pass it will be pure luck.
Like I said, I have until morning to reschedule. Thoughts?

good luck. you will never feel ready. i was doing in the 60s% in my nclex-rn review resources. i passed first time 75 qs. you should be relaxing the day before the nclex. no studying the day before. treat yourself like go see a movie or something. have a light breakfast in the morning of the exam. you can do this!

I agree. You'll never feel 100% ready. I didn't feel ready, but I just had to take it. Rescheduling wasn't an option. My sister drove me on her last vacation day since I suck at reading maps and getting to the testing center was almost a 2 hour drive. If you really, REALLY think you aren't ready reschedule. If your just feeling the normal anxiousness (maybe kinda how you felt before taking exams in nursing school) go ahead and take the thing.
You can do it!! Good luck.

The other posters are right. You aren't going to feel ready. I was in the same boat and was sure I wasn't going to pass. But I did on the first try with the 75 questions. I have been told the longer you wait after you graduate, the hard it can become. So if you have studied and practiced your "critical thinking" skills over the last few years, unless you are sure you will fail, you may want to try to take it. Understand that what you are feeling is normal and any of us that have taken that test have been there. Also, take the advice of the previous poster. Treat yourself to something special the day/night before and put down the books Good luck and can't wait to hear how you do.
