I just made this website, basically it's a very simple program that gives you a medication name and asks you what group of medications it belongs to. I made it because I always confuse meds with non-nondescript names and I hope it will help memorizing them by asking you a thousand times what that is. :) I took all the meds from Saunders Comprehensive Review 3 ed book.
Wow you are amazing!!! Everyone in my school has been complaining about not having a strictly pharmacology course. When I'm doing my nclex questions... i always seem to miss pharmacology ones. I'll come across drugs I've never even heard of. You are a life saver :)
I was a bit confused on what you are supposed to do...please clarify. It seemed as though names would come up, but no questions.
The purpose of the program is to help you study med names. It's not a test. A program gives you a medication, and you're supposed to tell which group of medications it belongs to. Like, for example, it asks "meperidine" and the right answer is "narcotic analgesic". And so on infinitely until you feel you've had enough. Doing it (supposedly) continuously helps you memorize medications... at least I hope so...
