Hello! I am going to enter RN next year and wondering which community colleges have the best nursing program. I live in Monterey Park, so how I can find out the schools close to my city.
i just prefer that school over my csusb school because all of those nurses hit jobs right away even with this economy break we are suffering and its a community college therefore its cheap
]What's the reason behind this? All of this reading on AN about how it's so hard to get a job due to the economy. I told my brother this and he said it's not hard to land a job after graduation, but finding a specialty job you'd want may be harder. How is it easier for SBVC graduates to land jobs compared to the rest of the other RN's out there?
Hi everyone, yes I did get in for Spring 2010 @ Valley. I was originally an alternate, #2 on the waiting list. They called me the 2nd week of December notifying me that a space did become available for me, and of course I took it. I was really excited because I definitely did not want to wait until August (Fall) 2010. I was crunched with time to get all the necessary work completed, but I did get everything done by the deadline. School started on the 11th and it is intense. I've only been in school for 2 weeks and I feel like it has been months. Valley's Nursing Program is one of the top in the US. The instructors are nice, and they really want us to succeed. I probably wont be posting after this because I just do not have the time. Hope all of you get accepted asap to any nursing program.
There are plenty of nursing schools around and how good they are really depends on their own records etc that i am not really sure of to be quite honest. A site such as http://www.nursingstudenttutor.com/nursing/best-nursing-schools-in-the-us.html has a fair bit there about some schools, i think that particular link is for the best nursing schools in the US according to that site, but that whole site itself has a few sections about schools. If that link is not as helpful for you as i thought it might be then maybe try http://www.nursingstudenttutor.com/sitemap instead and see if you can choose a particular area there to suit you.
