Hello! I am going to enter RN next year and wondering which community colleges have the best nursing program. I live in Monterey Park, so how I can find out the schools close to my city.

I hear that PCC has a great program and perhaps Mt. Sac Elac has one as well but I am not sure if it is very strong based on their NCLEX pass rates, but I do go to Elac and I love it there
Thanks guys!!! I am currently a student at ELAC, and I hear that many students are on waiting list. My friend has been waiting for 2 years.....
I will apply for many schools.....Is it easy to get into San Bernardino Valley College?
i applied earlier this year and i will be starting next fall... im already in..... so its not that bad their passing rate is like 90%
congratulation!!! coriaa1
good for you.....how many percentage do they require on TEAS test? When you applied, they accepted you right away?
no teas exam yet... however they will be implementing it sometime near the future the recruiter told me ...yes i got in right away i got the letter in the mail and my number as well which was 132
so u mean u still have to take it in the future? I thought every school would require TEAs test before entering R.N.
by the way, that school is so far from my house....It takes at least 3 hours to get there...
no they dont require a teas at all......wow 3 hrs is quite a drive.....i just prefer that school over my csusb school because all of those nurses hit jobs right away even with this economy break we are suffering and its a community college therefore its cheap

I talked to the secretary told her i recently applied and was wondering how soon i could get in by lottery and she told me the spring and at latest would be around 4 semester wait..she also mentioned that it depends on how much people apply
ur friends been waiting for two yrs ? are u sure about that? Im just hearing conflicting sources..

SBVC's waiting list is 2 years. I have been on the waiting list for 1 1/2 years and I am currently #61. I just went last week to complete a reactivation notice to keep me on the list. Im hoping that I will get in Spring 2010.

bloodflowers909,
I was wondering did you get in SBVC yet. This is my first semester on the waiting list. I would love to hear from you or anyone attended there with more info. about the school because I lives Sacramento. I applied for the school through mail. It is hard to get in Nursing school here in sac. No school that have waiting list. Anyway thank you,
