I just registered for my first semester of Nursing school!!

Hello everyone!!! I have literally been stalking this site since 2011, when I started my pre reqs and this is my first post. I have been dying to say I too have been accepted into nursing school. I have finally finished the thousands of steps it takes just to be able to register in AVC's nursing program. I start August 18th and I cannot wait. I know that the hard work hasn't even begun yet but I am just going to enjoy the happiness I am feeling before the stress and sleepless nights take over my life. Lol!!!

Congrats! Remember this excitement! Even when it gets hard, and it will, always remember the excitement you ahd when you got in. Hard work will continue to pay off for you!

Congrats! Make a list now of why you want to be a nurse. Post it on your fridge or somewhere you will see it everyday. When the days get tough and nights get long....go back and read it. Remember WHY you started this journey. Good luck!

I'm also starting nursing school in the fall! I am so excited!:) I just have to take anatomy and physiology 1 and I hope that goes well. I look forward to learning all these new nursing tasks and becoming a professional:) I hope I will have some good and understanding teachers and I'm sure I will:P

Congrats to you as well. I am going to apply to another nursing school. I did not get accepted my first time around. I can't wait until I get to where you are at.

You will, it is all about determination and good planning. It took me 3 times to apply to nursing programs...I finally made it in on the 4th try and I got in to at least 3 schools out of the 5 that I applied....so keep going strong and have faith, you will definitely get in :)

Congratulations on being accepted in to school. It seems ages ago since I was accepted (yet I only just finished my first semester lol). Advice, don't stress too much. Nursing school so far has not been as intimidating as I read on all nurses. It depends on how you learn and study. I picked up some material easy and other material it took a lot of work but I can honesly say I did not have any sleepless nights or stressful crying moments. I too have a son who when I started just turned 1 year old and I vowed to not let school interfer with my time with him and for the most part it didn't. I never studied at home and spent my time with him. It is totally doable and I will be moving on so I must have done something right! No worries momma you got this! :)
