I have finished my last CAP, my last essay and my dissertation!
Last lecture tommorrow!(and that isn't a real one, more on how to join the register)
So...I have finished! :balloons:
I am happy I have finished and now terrified that I am going to kill somone, I have never been on placement in cardiology where I am going to be working so I am now worrying about everything I should know!
Fingers crossed that I pass these essays!

Hiya!
I've been up to my eyeballs in the last few months (am finishing 1st year of RN programme plus 2 school age kids and house move and you name it...)and haven't been touching base here much, but I remember you and am delighted to hear that you're finished! Are you still up in Scotland? are you going to be working there?
I've just finished my 1st year and am at the end of 4 weeks in my "base" (do they still call it that?) surgical ward. I'm finally getting the hang of things and beginning to feel that I'm contributing, and of course, am now moving on.
Am off with district nurses in Sept. should be fun...
think I'll bring in cakes on Friday for my last shift.

I finished all my stuff in the 3rd, though officially the course does not end until the 17th and then work starts on the Monday. how scary is this? Starting off in an OP clinic means that I am not likely to risk killing anybody for the time being, but I'll get that chance when I rotate to the wards.
I have tidied my desk, sorted the useful from the irrelevant and thrown away bucket loads of paper and am now doing some homework on microbiology while lounging around in the garden - seems the learning curve never ends. good luck anyway.

I haven't thrown anything away.... not till I find out if I have passed or not! I am revising as well... brushing up on ECG analysis and heart conditions...
Good luck to you aswell!
