I belong to three clubs and this forum. Someone sent me a nasty email from one of those places. This person acused me of not being an RN which I take offense to. I paid my student loans for four year believe me I am an RN. This person called me a liar and other names. Yes I have been offered and accepted several jobs in the past two months and YES those places were really screwed up. I do not want to risk my license doing things that are either illegal, immoral or unethical. If you think companies are not operating out there like that you are sadly mistaken. I come to this board for support and to GIVE Support. Right now I am mentoring 5 students trying to help them grow as professionals. I open my heart to this group and someone has the nerve to write me, not sign their name and tell me people in the group are talking about me behind my back. I don't get it. Nurses do eat their young. I am not young either by the way LOL. This persons email addy is as follows:

Were the little nasties sent to your PM here on our board??I think the SYSOP can track em and issue a warning..I don't think AOL will do anything unless its Mediao ect...But my dear...BIG PICTURE There are alot of evil nut cases out in the cyberland..Jeeze they're even at our jobs and neighborhoods..Just know you have the support and ears of the good people on this board and can vent, question or comment on whatever you desire..Keep your nose above the smell and your eyes on the purpose.....

i can't believe the audacity of some people. i know i should, but i truly want to believe that most people are better than that. i'm so sorry to hear that this happened to you. i agree with the previous posts...i also want to say that i think this person may be jealous. maybe they are stuck in a job that they do not like or is unsafe....and you have shown strength and courage by leaving jobs that you haven't felt comfortable with. i think that in doing so, you have stuck up for nurses in a way...you have showed that we can do something about our working situation and that we don't have to put up with a job that is unsafe. so kudos to you!! :kiss just know in your heart that you are better than that/them. my parting words of wisdom...No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
