dont give up, I know it sound cliche but you can do it. Just keep trying. When I was having a tough time in physio my teacher would put "keep trying" with a little happy face on it. It was really encouraging.

Currently, I'm taking Microbiology along with A&P1, Sociology, and Psychology. Microbiology is giving me the biggest headache. But, if I don't do well, I'll just retake it in the Summer. I refuse to have this class hinder me from getting toward my goals. Don't give up. Maybe change your study habits, get study groups, anything if your determine.

The best thing I ever did was take a simple 1-unit Study Skills class years ago. (I took it because it was an easy way to get a credit -- was self-paced using workbook and videos.)
After that class, I've earned only A's and B's. Last week I noticed that my school now offers a special study skills class geared towards science classes! Perfect! See if your school offers these types of helper classes. I only wish I'd taken it BEFORE I wasted 3 semesters getting poor grades. ;-P
Good luck! :)

I made 2 Ds in my Microbiology class ( 1 for lab test and 1 for lecture test). I thought I couldn't pass the class so I was very scared. I studied like crazy, as hard as I can and finally I got an A in that class, yay!!! NEVER STOP TRYING

keep trying . i FAILED my first couple of pre-req's in college for nursing . my heart just wasnt in it at the time. i was fresh outa high school had no idea what i wanted . took a semester and came back stronger then ever...retook thos clases and finished my pre-req's..took the teas...it was a bumpy road but...proud to say FUTURE NURSING STUDENT HERE ---spring or summer term '11 =D
Yes! That was me -- fresh out of high school, heart not in it at all. I got a C in Micro my first semester in college. I was living on my own for the first time, (and dealing with roommates), trying to manage a part-time job on top of that... yeah, it was a recipe for low-achievement for me.
Now that I'm older and wiser, I never settle for a C -- I work hard to get at least a B. You can do it, too! This site is great for commiserating and getting support when you're discouraged.
Yea it was a real kick in the butt when a girl I graduated high school in 2006 with just graduated from the nursing program I wil be jus startin early next year...but u kno what , we all learn from our mistakes . I'm only 21 but I'm glad I learned early :)
