Are you sure it wasn't the hospital changing the clinical sites? That can happen, too.

this is for my clinical at community~ She can't make up her mind!

Perhaps she's unorganized. Perhaps she wants to be absolutely certain you get the best clinical experience possible. The fact is, when you start working as a nurse, you may not know what you walk into or where you'll be assigned to before your shift begins, so, while stressful, this is part of nursing and chances are you'll be faced with situations like this sooner or later. You don't have to like it, but it's good to learn how to deal with it. I do wish you smooth sailing for the rest of your clinicals. :wink2:

Believe me what happened on my classmates last year, their instructor quit in the middle of their clinical and they have to move to another hospital.

I work in a hospital and belive me, we do have to make last minute changes in where students can be. Part of nursing school is an endurance test. Stay in there.

my clinical was in community like NA/AA recovery center. I don't understand why she have to make last minute choice. She is not only unorganized, sometimes she is irrelevant. What is EMT at a fire station to do with my psychiatric clinical?

perhaps, because the EMT may be the first responder to a psych emergency??
