I am an RN with my BSN and have been working for almost a year in a nursing and rehabilitation center and dread every day of work. I have tried applying to hospitals for over a year with no success and am beginning to wonder if I am even suited for a floor nursing job at all.
In all honesty I would prefer a job with the least amount of personal interaction as possible. I am a good worker and exceeded in school but fear I have chosen the wrong career. I hate the amount of stress it involves; dealing with human's lives. I would rather work an office job at this point. I am willing to go back to school and tough out at least a couple of years as a floor nurse but would appreciate any advice regarding RN positions that would better suit me and my personality.
