Hi Sidenius I'm a NZ trained RN working in Australia and I too am looking to work in the US. I'm in the process of validating credentials with CGFNS so far so good, only have to have current practicing certificate verified (AHPRA is a nightmare) finally think I found the correct form, so will see how that goes. I think that you have to start somewhere if that is your dream and everyone wants experience so that is a bonus. I thought about an agency but I have a family and want to be in a specific part of the country so I have started out on my own. Good luck with the paperwork.

Don't put yourself down. Plenty of other people out there that will do that for you. Have you looked at operating room nursing? Yep you still have some stress but you get to work in a team environment, you only need to be super nice until the patient goes to sleep and there is always something new to learn. Don't stress the best thing about a Nursing degree is the variety. Good luck.
