  1. I have also been applying everywhere for months. Many of my friends got jobs in nursing homes after applying everywhere for months. New York Presbyterian has a new grad meet and greet which can result in acceptance to their New grad residency program...but I don't know anybody who got accepted.
  2. What kind of questions did you get during your job interviews? Here is what I got: 1) NYP meet and greet: "Tell me about yourself and why we should hire you" What I learned from this: I now bring a write-up of my highlights that go beyond or better explain my resume. 2) Phone interview: "Verbalize a head-to-toe assessment" This was a curve ball for a new grad like me ....lol...But, I think that I did okay... 3) Face-to-Face: "What was your least favorite clinical rotation?" This was also a hard one because I liked them all... So, what interview questions did you have?
  3. Have you considered maybe pursuing a nursing position for an insurance company or becoming a professor? When I was looking for a job, I saw a few telenurse positions that required previous nursing experience.....Current literature also indicates that there is or will be a shortage of nursing professors...When I took a CNA course, it was taught by an RN...Seemed like a pretty chill job...
