Congrats! I'm a pre nursing student and I'm so intimidated and scared I have so many gen Ed classes to take and I SUCK at math so I'm worried about the TEAS exam! Any advice? Thanks! :)

Congrats! ^_^

What was your stats when you applied? Also, how many points did you obtain? Just curious. Congrats.

Thanks! I was too and I am horrible at math forever and it scared me. All I did was take one class at a time (instead of thinking of all the stuff I had to do ahead) and studied really hard (school doesn't come naturally to me, I have to study a lot!) I met people in class and formed study groups. I had to take the Hesi (like the teas for my school's program) 3 times for the math. But I finally passed after learning how to solve the problems, I practiced a lot with friends who are better at math than me. My advice is just to take one class at a time mentally, form study groups and study hard for the pre reqs. Don't let things intimate you (specially what people say) see for yourself how it is and think of it as something simple you just need to do to get through. Good luck! :)

What do you mean by stats? My pre req grades? I got 8 points for my application. Thanks!

Thanks! That helps alot! Sucks for me though because at my school you can only take the TEAS exam once and if you fail you cannot get accepted into the program. And you can only apply to the nursing program once a year. Even if you have straight A's in all your classes. Sucks but I just gotta study my butt off.

Your welcome! That does suck but just figure out what you need to do and study, study, study for the Teas lol. It's basic stuff so it shouldn't be too difficult. :)

Congrats!! I'm originally from Broward County, BCC's program is supposed to be great.

Yes! I heard they are the best and a lot of hospitals like to hire students from here the most. Thanks! :)

Yaaaaaaaay:yeah:, congrats

By stats, I think they mean....your GPA, exam score, or anything else that your school may have used to determine your points.
