Good evening everyone, I got accepted into the accelerated nursing program for Thomas Edison State College for the fall 2015 semester. Can anyone please tell me about the program, I would appreciate it. I'm also thinking about relocating to Trenton for the year until I finish school. If anyone knows any good locations in Trenton please let me know, thank you.
The lady from admissions said a lot of people who don't meet the minimum application criteria are rejected before they are even reviewed by the nursing department. They don't get interviews. Then there are some who almost meet the criteria who they submit to nursing for consideration for an interview. I'm technically one of those people because I'm still in micro. I don't know about people who do meet the minimum criteria, you think they automatically get an interview?
When I applied I was still in the process of completing micro and ethics. I got the interview and was conditionally accepted into the program. They asked me how my classes were going, I told them great. After I gave them my final grades, I got accepted into the program. I applied last year but did not get in because I was missing 4 of the classes.
Has anyone heard back from any alumni? I'm curious to know because I see they require a score of 83 (B) to pass each course. I also would like to know how tough the program is in terms of tests/quizzes etc. Sometimes it's important to know about the program you are getting into so you know what to expect. Please advise.
