I got accepted into Thomas Edison State, has anyone else been accepted for fall 2015

Good evening everyone, I got accepted into the accelerated nursing program for Thomas Edison State College for the fall 2015 semester. Can anyone please tell me about the program, I would appreciate it. I'm also thinking about relocating to Trenton for the year until I finish school. If anyone knows any good locations in Trenton please let me know, thank you.

Hi izzy732. I graduated from TESU in September 2016. Also to let you know looks like there are updates posts about it on other threads which is awesome because like you I had trouble finding info on it. The program is intense. They try to tell you that but once you're in it, it's more so than you can imagine. My class only graduated 50% that we started with, the rest failed out sadly. Teachers try to help but there is not bending if the rules and once you're behind it's r3ally on you to improve or catch up. Each quarter the bulk of your grade is 3 or 4 exams, for us 80 is passing below is failing (so if you have a 79.4 average at end of quarter sorry you're out). I heard they were changing the cutoff to 78 which would actually be a huge help. It d oesnt sound that low but many exams are 50 questions so more than 10 wrong is a fail. And they are hard exams. Once you get in the groove, and learn what works best for your studying, it is completely doable. I don't say any of the above to scare anyone away, just that you have to make this your priority for the entire year in order to complete it. There were 3 teachers for us, and you'll learn whose teaching style works best for you. They made lovely brand new facility that we got to use for our last month haha. Overall I liked the program and I think they continue to make improvements as they grow. Just make sure you're ready for this kind if program. But again, doable. Many of our class had challenge whether it was raising kids, travelling, etc and you can definitely make it happen if you want to! I'm so glad I did the accelerated, and have been working as a Neuro Tele nurse for a year!
