Hi everyone, I'm an adult student who attends Suny Brockport college. I received my denial letter just 2 days ago and am so upset. It seems 300 or so students applied for just 80 seats, or so the gossip says! Now I'm debating what to do. I will have 61 credits after this semester finishes, so the thought of going to MCC seems a bit silly, as I'd certainly rather accomplish a BSN versus a two year RN for the same time frame of attendance. I have been thinking maybe I should just choose another major, but nursing is my dream, my goal and my passion. So how can I just change? I'm thinking of applying to Roberts Wesleyan, but figure the acceptance rate there will probably mirror Brockport. I'm just in such a rut right now, and am so upset, I just wanted to vent I guess. I am just blindsided, as I didn't expect this, just as I'm sure the other 220 students didn't either! Urgh!
