So I graduated in 12/09, passed NCLEX-RN on 01/12. I probably applied to 75 positions over 3 months. Today I interviewed for a per-diem position in a LTC facility. They called me 4 hours after my interview and offered me the position!!!!! I am so excited.
I have a question though- I need to go in tomorrow am for a TB test, if this is all I'm doing (HR person is off) can I wear jeans and a nice top or should I wear dress pants?

IMO, I wouldn't go in wearing jeans if I could help it--you are still making first impressions there. At the same time, if it's just a TB test, I don't think you need to be interview-level dressed either. Maybe wear a pair of basic pants (black, khaki, cargo, whatever).
If you're going to go in jeans though, they better be the best pair you have (without rips, frays, or stains; not skintight; nothing offensive on or about them) and wear a very nice top with them.
Congratulations and best of luck! :)
I ended up wearing khakis and a nice top. Its a good thing I did too because the Sister that wanted to hire me was there and it was the ADON that gave me the tb test!

Congrats!! & good planning on the outfit. Its always better to dress over then to dress under expectations.
