the sadness i feel is unexplainable... everybody thought that im gona passed it the first time even my teacher congratulate me in advance... i did not assumed that i passed nor expect it... im a straight A student and got 95% chance of passing the nclex from my NLN result. its like nclex type sorta thing that i took online in school im not making this up or bragging about it i just dont understand what i did wrong... 10 or more of my classmates who took the nclex PASSED! ALL of them! im not exaggerating... even my classmate who barely passed the class MADE IT! im not hating or blaming others for my failure dont get me wrong. im so lost right now i dont know where to start i feel that i study almost everything and anything there is to study...i feel so stupid... did i over analyzed the questions?? did i got the hardest ones?? pls help!
I think looking at all the options, and all the possible barriers to passing the NCLEX is in order here. To just disregard an observation out of hand because it does not fit with your idea of the world is selling yourself short. If I were you I would take that suggestion (for that was what is was) and run with it. Try and see if there are any classes the review for the NCLEX for ESL students. I mean to just disregard good advice because it upsets you, makes no sense what so ever. If any of these students or any of these RN's went to another country and took an exam in a language that was not spoken primarily in their home, they would be at a disadvantage. The individual that made the post was not confrontational in any way. Her questions was presented in a respectful manner. I wish you well and encourage you to knock the chip off your shoulder, it is impossible to soar to the heights you so obviously are able to obtain with sooo much dead weight.:wink2:
dont lose hope.i took the nclex also last december 17, finished with 265 questions but still i failed it.all were near passing which means a little more studying might do the trick.i'm planning to take it again sometime in march.i will also try suzanne's plan hopefully we will pass this time.keep on praying.

lol........................................................................................................
I had been an LPN for 30 years and have been going to school like forever. I had to switch gears and think like an RN, plus I had to study all the things I had forgotten over the years. I used the Saunders book and CD. Plus, I took a 4 week online course through learningext.com. This course's website is the NCSBN (National Council of State Boards of Nursing). A friend of mine did this and passed the first time with 75 questions. I made the mistake of not doing it the first time,so I failed with 75 questions. I retested on Dec. 29th, had all 265 questions and passed.
My advice is to study and do all the test questions you can get your hands on.

Many foreign nurses do have problems with this exam and part of the problem is English is not their first language.
