Published

First I wanna say thanks for the info!

Next qus is: once uget your 2 year RN how hard is it to go back and get your 4 year?

And another qus is: what's a good job for a RN that's alot of hands on work?

And is it hard to find a job fresh out of school?

Thanks everyone for all your great help I posted in the Tennessee thing and people was so rude I know I don't have good grammar and stuff but that's why I need help and I'm willing to ask for it :)

And I feel like I'm not smart enough to go to school! Does anyone else feel like u are not smart enough? I think it's becuz I have never been to a public school at all in my life it makes me so nervous to think I'll be in school and be the dumbest one there ;(

Where are you located? Where do you want to go to school?

BTW.....I am sorry you feel like other members were rude to you in the Tennessee forums. You can always report rude behavior.

I can't answer your other questions, but I can say that in high school I took an advanced biology course... I was horrible at science and didn't like my teacher. First semester I did terribly. But, I was so disappointed with my grade that I worked as hard as I ever had in my life and ended up second in the class by the end of the year... I now really enjoy biology :) you can do anything you put your mind to.

Also, most community colleges have a placement test so you'll get put in classes that are at your level for each subject.

good luck! :)

I am located around Memphis tn

I think Iwanna go to southwesti

amy sweetie,

you want to do well and that means you have a big jump over many of the students in your beginning english, math and later courses. you want to be an rn so badly that you'll put studying ahead of just about anything else. instructors and professors are so glad to have a student who really wants to do well, that they'll usually do whatever they can to help you. you'll also be assigned to an advisor who will help you fill out your registration forms and make sure you end up in the correct classes. ask whatever questions you think of because that's part of his/her helping you. you may register yourself online or the advisor may help. different schools do it differently.

just relax tonight and try not to think up things to worry about because it will all come together for you. call in the morning and see what you can find out. if someone suggests very basic courses, it isn't because they think you're dumb. it's just that people have had different chances and different educations. colleges let you take a few courses before you register officially. the number varies from school to school.

keep us updated because we do care.

Hello Amy, I'm very sorry about your previouse exp. Don't let negative people hold you back. I think you are very smart. I started my life from scratch when I came to the USA in 2002. My english was soooo bad. I remember my first biology class I had no idea what my instructure is talking about. I stayed up all night studying one page!! looking up every single word. I quiet and went to work as a cashier for $7 an hour. One day a nice lady was shopping at our store she looked at me and said" I love your smile where are you from" we started talking and she asked me to be patient and go back to school. I did went back to school and I got C in biology. I was so happy for that C. The next semester I got B in psycology. My GPA went up to 3.0!!! It took me more than 5 years to get to that point. When I had my second child I decided to get my LPN first to make some money and I did in 2008. There will be alot of positive people in your road as well as negative people. Brush off the bad ones and be patient. I am still learning new words every day as long as I'm willing. I am allways allways asking how to spell this word ?how to say this word? what is the meaning of that? many times I see people laughing at me or being rude to me. "I don't care" keep laughing. Good luck to you. BE Postive Positive Positive. You are in the land of new chance, new life.

Thanks you so much, I wish there could be all nice people in this world!

I treat people the way I wantto be treated!

Thanks for all that it makes me feel good and in so glad u are Tryin to learn also and I wish u well in everything you do!

Thanks alot:)

your written english is excellent. to fine tune it or to improve your spoken english, you might consider enrolling in an esl or english as a second language course. to improve your spoken english, get involved in programs with your children and join a ywca. they have kids groups, book clubs, etc. you'll have fun, learn a lot and your english will improve a good bit too -- plus you'll make some new friends too!
