Hello Everyone!
I can't afford the cost to take the Kaplan or Hurst NCLEX review classes. Any advice on other means to prepare for the exam? I know that there are many who have passed the NCLEX without paying the extra money for the review courses. I want to take it within a month at least.
Thanks a bunch!!!!!

I could not afford them either. I used study guides (books) and a study group. It is important to practice the test-taking as the language of the tests is not like speaking, and you need to quickly discern the subject matter and what the question is about. I wish you luck!

I took a review course and it didn't help me much anyways! I am using review books and study guides I have found online and making good old fashion notecards! Hope this helps! Good luck! (:

the only reason I took the ATI live review is because it was built into the cost...I didn't pay for Kaplan like some of the people in my class and they said it was relatively useless...
get books - Saunders is good, Exam Cram is good, etc...
