Help please!!!
So, I have had my license since June 4th. I have put in so many applications I can't even remember how many I have put in. I have applied to all of the local hospitals. The local nursing homes are not hiring RNs and I haven't found any doctor's offices that are hiring either. I have turned in resumes (twice) to the jobs that I seriously would LOVE to have. But I have not even had a phone call. No interview. NOTHING. I am so depressed. All of my friends are getting jobs and I can't even get an interview. I don't know what to do anymore. I feel totally worthless. I have even applied to jobs out of the state that my license are in. Please someone tell me something to do to help me get an interview. I have no medical experience except school and I worked at a fast food place for about 3 months when I was younger. I'm starting to think maybe I shouldn't be a nurse.

No job experience
I am preparing for interviews and I have no idea how I am going to answer behavioral questions since I have NEVER had a job!! I am 21 years old I started college as soon as I graduated high school after a year of basics I started nursing school and then I graduated this May! I can only use my experience from nursing school but that doesn't feel like enough. I'm hoping they will just not ask me any questions like that because I honestly have no answer. Any advice??

I am so sorry to hear that! But you are right you will do better next time! (: I am scheduled to take NCLEX on Monday and I am preparing myself incase I fail. I don't feel ready at ALL! I have crammed/studied for 2 weeks and I'm getting ready frustrated! (not to mention nervous) Sometimes I do well on quizzes and sometimes I don't. Any last minute advice? Anyone?

I can't afford Kaplan or Hurst review class. What are other ways to prepare?
I took a review course and it didn't help me much anyways! I am using review books and study guides I have found online and making good old fashion notecards! Hope this helps! Good luck! (:

Taking NCLEX too soon?
I graduated nursing school about 2 weeks ago, and I am scheduled to take NCLEX in 10 days!!!!! I am SO nervous Since May 19th (when I got my ATT) I have been reading my Saunders review book, the online study guides I have found, HESI's NCLEX review and studying notecards and doing some questions (about 100 a day), but I still do NOT feel prepared AT ALL! I am considering rescheduling my NCLEX, but I don't know if that is a good idea or not. I WILL NOT procrastinate! I will study hard every day if I do push it back to a later date! So that is not a problem. UGHHHHH I just don't know what to do!?! Any advice? Anyone?
