I can't tell you at the moment if it'll get you to pass (NCLEX is on the 21st for me) but I can tell you I enjoyed it and I feel like it really streamlined information beautifully. NCLEX aside, the refreshment of all of the med surg stuff that was lost somewhere collecting dust in my brain will contribute greatly to critical thinking in practice.
Thanks everyone, I appreciate the responses... I just attended a live review and I thought it was excellent. I just activated my 14 days and trying to get this Med Surg info into my long term memory before starting on Maternity and Peds...I'm also studying LaCharity PDA book as well. I just pray I pass this test on my 1st try!!
I only studied Hurst review and passed in 75 questions yesterday. Got my license number today! I liked the Hurst review, it definitely helped me re-learn some of the content from nursing school, but a lot of my questions on the NCLEX had nothing to do with the content learned in Hurst review. However, the strategies they give you (like tachycardia and restlessness.. think hypoxia) were awesome and I feel like that helped me critically think through the questions on my test.
Good luck! Relax, breathe, and take your time!
