47.5 on hurst qreview totally devastated

i took my first time to answer my q review for hurst and was davastated to see that i only got 47.5% i'm not even close to passing,i don't know if i'm studying right way or i answered when i was sleepy and preoccupied of so many things,i don't know what to do:banghead::cry:

Don't stress to much. I did practice tests and was only scoring in the 60s and I passed no problem.

Yes there still is. Work through the practice questions and make sure you are under standing what they are asking. Get your self an NCLEX MADE EASY book and take their tests. The seem a littler easy and are more nursing knowledge versus theory. I scored better and remained my confindence. Do about 100 question a night between the two books. Then night before no books relax an get some rest and go into the test confident that you will pass. Worked for me.

Make sure you read the rationals on all the questions, both right and wrong.

How many did you get right out of the 125 questions. I did my 4th test yest. and notice my scored are improving. I got 89/125 right and I believe that they suggest a 75 and higher. Just remember its the first test, read the rationale and keep studying the Hurst videos and review review review!

Go the areas you are weak again in hurst reviews. Especially the core videos. You will be able to make it with Hurst. Just go over the videos again. Post if you have any questions.

How are you studying with Hurst Reviews.

I listen to the videos. I've herd each maybe 3 times each. Then I sit in front of a mirror and begin to "teach a class" lol silly I know but it works for my memory.

Sounds like a great way to learn hurst where you teach a class. I have heard people say they do this teaching thing with flash cards.

Maybe making a video would make it more fun or drawing the information. Just gotta get a handle on that core material.

Don't worry! Try to relax a little. I kept getting 60 and passed!!! Just keep doing questions every single day! I used to do 300 a day.

You can put key words on the flash cards like....FVE and talk about what it is, what causes it... Aldostorone... etc etc. I'm reviewing renal now and tomorrow GI and hopefully Resp. What other resources are you using to study
