Published

Hi all!

Just wanted to pop on here and see if anyone else has been accepted to Humbers RPN course! :)

If so, are we allocated a block classes or is there a series of block classes we can select?

Hi all, I have been accepted to RPN at Humber for Fall 2019. I was hoping for GBC but I'm waitlisted, and now I hear so much bad stuff about GBC that I'm thinking it may not be a bad thing that I didn't get in! I am a mature student (41) and so nervous about being back at school. Hoping to make contact with others in a similar position on here ?

Congratulations on getting in! ? I’m under the mature student status as well, however, I’m 27. I’m nervous as well to start. I think we will all do well.

Do you plan on bridging to RN after?

Yup hopefully although I will see how I do with RPN first!

Congratulations! ?

No, I have not registered for any classes. I believe this happens sometime around July.

Congratulations! I actually got accepted at George brown college for May so I won’t be going to Humber anymore I started this week but I hope you have a lovely time at that campus!

Hey did u guys receive your package for the Community Service Learning. I'm planning on starting my volunteer hours As soon as possible.

Yeah I did. I’m starting mine ASAP as well.

I tried to book an appointment for the hspnet thing but there are no time slots available.

i emailed Sandra and she stated that the lady who runs it is on vacation until July 8, which is when it will most likely be open.

also 100 hours is A LOT

I have so many commitments with my current job and my toddler son which is why I want to start asap. I'm looking at doing it at habitat for humanity.

That’s the one I was looking at as well, that requires a full day’s work. You start at 8 and finish at 4.

i as well have a lot of commitment, working 2 jobs is hard. I’m thankful I have Fridays off during the summer, which will help.

yh I was looking at their website and I was looking to do full hours on the weekend. I've found one close to my current job so I hope it works out. Are u excited to begin school in September?
