Humber RPN/PN Fall 2019

Published

Hi all!

Just wanted to pop on here and see if anyone else has been accepted to Humbers RPN course! :)

If so, are we allocated a block classes or is there a series of block classes we can select?

I agree. I feel like there are massive gaps within the schedule. I've never had a class after 3 or 4.

Yeaa... noticed all the blocks has a 4-6 anatomy class right?

Yeah! I wasn’t too pleased with that selection, but whatever! I can’t complain! Only doing 4 classes this semester!

Hey guys!

Just wanted to let you all know that I created a facebook group.

I'll post it below if anyone wants to follow! ? I think it would be a great way to ask for any additional help or issues! ?

If the link does not work, the group is called Humber Practical Nursing Class of 2021

link works. I just requested to join

Great... it works... sent a request already

Is it true that nursing schools in the GTA (Sheridan,Humber, GBC ) do not accept applicants with a grade lower than 80s in the pre-requisite subjects? I am about to submit my OCAS application but I only have an 80 in my Math and my school counsellor said my chances of getting an offer with that grade is unlikely ? Do you think I should keep my fingers crossed and apply now? or should I retake Math and aim for a higher mark? Anyone with the same experience? Thanks

For Humber RPN, there was no min pre requisite. I graduated high school 10 years ago and had a horrible average! But I also went to humber previously, so I had some post secondary. Humber is based off of a test that they make you take.
If anything, I’d apply and see what happens
