I have recently applied for a position with Humana. I have read a lot of negative comments on glass door from previous employees, but not much information on RNs that work for Humana. Can anyone give any insight?
Thanks so much,
Cindy
I will be attending a video/web interview in the next 2 weeks and was wanting to know if anyone has accepted a position as Humana Cares Manager and what is your take on the at home position? I was told there would be an average of 220 assigned patients with an expectation to contact at least 70-80% of them within a 40 hour work week, is this an accurate statement? And are we micromanaged / tracked on when we are on the computer / phones? Any answers would be of great help to me in deciding on whether to or not to leave my position at the Veterans Healthcare Facility as charge nurse of an outpatient clinic? Thank you very much. Vicki
I too was told the start date would be from April 6th - 18th if I was offered the position, but my video/web interview is not until next week. I will see how it goes before I make a final decision. Have you received any pros and cons about the position because I am nervous about all of it. Thanks.

My interviewer said that works out to be around 10 patients a day with contact of about 7 or 8 of them. I did hear that they know when your not on your computer as it's a instant messaging system so they know when your "active". The pay was good the health benefits not so much. But the other benefits such as PTO tuition and such are really and it starts day one. I will be going to Florida in April as well they already gave me my flight and hotel information as well. The only thing I don't like it the background ck. they want to much information lol. Let me know if you hear anything. Maybe it's something new to me too. Heck we may even see each other in FL.
Hi! Are you going to Tampa on 4/6 for 2 week training? If so, do you have any info to share? I just accepted an offer with Humana 2 days ago, and I am supposed to go down for the training as well. I was curious to know where we stay, do we room together, how do we get around as far as a rental car and gas/food. They haven't given me much information yet and I'm dying to know these things! :0)
