Does anyone know when the 2014 application will be posted (and when it's due)?

People who have been accepted to this scholarship, do you have any tips? What does the application entail?

same here, im a bit confused, it said half page, then less than 5000 words, then 1 page. i didnt see anything about spacing, but im assuming double spaced....

yeah, who knows? But be careful, it limits us to 5000 characters, not 5000 words.

does this scholarship still fund you if you go from Full time student to part time?

Anyone know how hard it is to get a job in an under served facility? I applied but this is the only thing that worries me

So i know when i got this scholarship last time they ran credit checks on those who got the scholarship. It's about a month away from the deadline for those who get it...I really need this scholarship.

To make sure you haven't defaulted on another federal obligation like student loans. I know when I got it last time, and reading last years posts it was a good sign. If you got your credit pulled you were likely to get the scholarship. I know last years deadline was supposed to be August 31 and people started having their credit pulled around July 16. But I checked mine yesterday on credit karma and quizzle and nothing, so I dont know.

This waiting game is taking a toll on me! I find myself going "crazy" this summer!!!! I wish we could know something earlier...

Me too...wish they would at least start pulling people's credit...seems to go pretty quick after that.

I checked my credit report as well today and nothing. Judging from last year posts we should be having our credits checked by the latest next week :).

Hi, everyone! I'm also an applicant this year for the NHSC scholarship program. I'm planning on attending Vanderbilt Unviersity to earn my MSN in nurse-midwifery if I'm blessed with this scholarship. Has anyone received any updates to their accounts?

*sighs* I am really hoping I get this. I do have other loans, but none are in default, and I certainly have all the grades and the dedication to service. The suspense is killliinnggg me lol
