Hi everyone,

I'm enrolled to start my ABSN program in the Fall and am applying for Nurse Corps.n

On the 'verification of good standing' form the school fills out there is a question that says "Is this enrollment conditional? Y /N" and "If so, what are the conditions of enrollment?"

My university circled "Y" that my enrollment was conditional When I asked the admissions counselor why, she said it was because it was conditional on compliance requirements like immunizations, background and criminal background check, and drug screen (stuff most of us in the cohort haven't finished yet because it's not due til later in the Summer.

I'm concerned that this may preclude me from being eligible for the scholarship. Did anyone else have this happen where your school said your admission was conditional? Was it based on compliance?

I almost get a vibe that the school is somehow reluctant about helping students get this or that the admissions officer is being petty, but of course I can't know that. It just seems weird that they'd say I had conditional admission just based on compliance stuff.

Has anyone else had this form checked this way, or did your school just say you were enrolled?

Did there end up being any repercussions? I'm going through the same thing right now and its stressing me out

Hi, it didn't happen to me but I remember reading here that someone had that same issue last year.

I am an applicant for the 2024 scholarship.  My application was showing "submitted " for about two weeks . Now it is saying under review. Is this a good sign? Also I was wondering how did you guys check the score of your applications ?

Yes it actually does mean a good sign but not guaranteed. Sometimes, they could check without having under review as well.

Thank you so much!

Hello,

did anyone from this thread end up receiving the scholarship?

I applied for the '24 cycle and share the same nervousness you all once had.

thank you!!

Hi,

I applied last year and received the scholarship but was not awarded until September 2023 so it was quite a lengthy wait.

I'm a recipient. You have to be patient and keep your faith up. I remember when everyone was saying they got it but I didn't see any changes on my portal I was getting nervous. I stayed hopeful and prayed.

Hey all!

I'm 2024 applicant. Did anyone go through this: I applied with a school I was going to go then decided to change my admission decision to a different school.

I remember them saying if you change schools prior to getting the award you will lose your chance. So I called and I was told I can tell them after I recieve the award. Has anyone experienced this?

also what does COI mean? LOL I keep seeing everyone write that

Confirmation of interest, I think it's a form that your school would fill out that you're really enrolled and in good standing.
