They have requested COI - continuation of interest, along with an enrollment verification form. And my school has had the enrollment verification form, but it still hasn't been completed or returned to me, and I swear, if I miss this opportunity, I'm gonna flip! 🤬

I second this. I applied last year and no one received COIs until early Sept. They were not sent all at once, but in weekly batches. Some awardees had credit checks in mid-August, some did not. Some had a credit check and no COI. Some even got a COI, filled out the paperwork, and were not awarded. Rejection letters came late Sept (as did more COIs).
Not doing that again. I'll start keeping an eye out mid-Sept.
They awarded less than 10% of the applicants and my guess is it could be a lot less this year. I'll be honest - I don't have high hopes with the funding cuts and HRSA no longer answering calls (they were very responsive last year). I applied again, but it will be the last year I do. Sometimes you just need to pay attention to the signs 😉
What credit score do you need for this? Im seeing past where people report their credit being checked
It's to check if the applicant has prior federal obligation or federal debts (ex: child support) and things of that nature it's not for an actual credit score check.
Did everyone receive a COI? If I haven't received a COI, does that mean I most likely did not receive the award?
I did not get one either. I am not sure if it means that, but doesn't look good. The customer service center rep told me the other day they have started awarding so....
