HPU Fall 2020

U.S.A. Hawaii

Published

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone has applied to HPU’s fall 2020 semester.

Yeah, its been so incredibly annoying with HPU it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Obviously I would love to go to KCC over HPU but Ill take what I can get. I didn't apply to UH because of the english portion of my TEAS score being too low LOL

So discouraging getting waitlisted and not getting in last sem to KCC I don't have high hopes this time around hahaha I hope they at least accept a cohort! It would suck if their entire program is pushed back...

Would you ever consider applying to the mainland or other islands? I know it’s hard out here. However; there IS a program for you, that I promise.

I have a good housing situation right now, animals and a long-term boyfriend all here on Oahu so I'm just not in a position to leave right now ?

I just worked up the courage to email Ann again about my application...

They're probably so annoyed with me haha

Ahh I see. No, persistence is key! Keep at it.

Is there another thread somewhere? I wonder why there are only 4 ppl curious about the program and decisions?

I agree I would love to know more about who was accepted in the first round and the latter to get a better idea of whats going on there. I guess my application is going to be considered with the second wave of apps, I guess we should hear back around the end of April?

Has anybody heard anything? or know of anyone who has?

Sorry. I’m not sure what happened to my first reply.

I was conditionally accepted but am not sure how they are going to conduct classes with this pandemic. Classes haven’t even begun and financial aid and counselors haven’t responded to my questions. That has been a little frustrating. Cost per semester (4 months) is $17,100 which does not include books or fees such as ATI tests you have to purchase which I have heard is hundreds of dollars. Also, I just found out that their campus doesn’t even offer student parking! I am not sure how I will pay for school ?

I got in! Yay
