HPU Fall 2020

Hello Yumi2019!

Yes I have applied to the Fall 2020 semester! I have all A's in my prerequisites, and I got a 74% on my Teas. I hope it's good enough to get in. What are your grades and Teas scores if you don't mind me asking? I already received my acceptance as a pre-nursing major for the University. I heard that decisions from the nursing department will be one month after the deadline. Let me know!

I have one writing class that I am still taking, but other than that, I have 2B’s and the rest A’s. I have a 78.7 TEAS score. Have you applied to any other schools? I haven’t even received an acceptance into HPU for prenursing yet.

I applied super early, so I think that’s why I got the pre-nursing already. I wish I made a higher score on the TEAS, but hopefully my straight A’s will make up for it.
I have applied to other schools, but they’re in Florida where I’m originally from. What about you?

I’ve applied to UH Manoa, KCC, and even Maui College! I have applied to KCC and UH Manoa last year, and only got waitlisted for Manoa. It’s tough out here!

Omg I know! I heard KCC doesn’t even look at your application unless you have straight A’s. UH Manoa is also super hard.

Kmoss, I just got my acceptance letter for prenursing. Hopefully we get the decision soon for nursing. Are you planning on working while in school?

What other nursing schools have you applied to? This is my first time applying and I only applied to KCC ADN program.

UH Manoa, Maui College, and HPU.

Hi all! I too have applied for HPU for Fall 2020 in addition to KCC's ADN program. I have heard so many mixed things about HPU's program it makes me sort of nervous about it. I have gotten the pre-nursing acceptance email so far but not the official program letter yet. So anxious!

It’s super anxiety ridden for sure. Do you mind me asking what your TEAS score and prerequisites grades were?

Also what mixed things have you heard about HPU?
